  Van Halen Barton Colosseum 1979 Van Halen Played Little Rock Arkansas on June 8th, 1979.  Lots of shows came through Little Rock during this time, and this was one of the wildest. Van Halen had just come off it's first world tour, and this was it's second. Everybody I know from Pine Bluff went to this show. Not sure who the opening band was, but this was an amazing show!   Churches of Pine Bluff,Arkansas Pine Bluff is known for a lot of things. Whether positive or negative there are things you can appreciate, about ole PB. The architecture is something I'm always reminded of, time and time again. From the stone work, masonry construction, the pillars and magnitude of these churches are amazing.  I always thought it was black and white. As that's how most memories are, in black and white. But actually it is Cardinal and white. The fighting zebra is a great symbol for Pine Bluff and has been around for years! Go Zebras!
